  • stop saying “it doesn’t work”!

    VodaGlobe

This is about the HUAWEI E620 PCMCIA Card for Globe Visibility.

I kept on calling Globe Customer Service about the card if it works on Linux (Ubuntu 7.10) and i always get the same answer “it doesn’t work.”.. Talked to some engineers and devs of Globe and again i get the “it doesn’t work.” answer.

What the heck is wrong with these people? Can’t they just be nice to answer me like “we are still working on it.” rather than giving me a dead-end answer?…

Last night i got challenged and told myself, “if they can’t do it, then i think i can..”… and for just a matter of 12 minutes, i got a new answer and this time it came from me, “it works!”…

A first grader can do this and i’m sure you can..

    Here’s how:

    Download this software from Vodafone.

Vodafone Mobile Connect for Linux (Ubuntu 7.10)

Install it and change the settings to Globe Visibility.

Just change the username to globe, password to globe and APN to internet.globe.com.ph .

    Connect!…

    whooohaaaaa!!!!  SWAK!!!! it works!!!!
