Pinoy Web Designer’s Toolkit
I’m going to plug our upcoming webinar here while I wait for the poster-art from Marc (from Drupal Philippines). Just today, we cooked up a Pinoy-oriented webinar focused on web design and development:
The Pinoy Web Designer’s Toolkit (Part 1)
June 22, 2010 Tuesday 2-3pm GMT+8
Basically, we’ll talk about design and development tools — a couple of which include Cacoo, Aviary, Flairbuilder, and Inkscape. The discussion will be very informal — we’ll have feature highlights, tips & tricks, and we’ll even open the floor to Q&As. In fact, we’d love to get volunteer speakers for the webinar. Send me an email at macel at g2ix dot com if you’re interested.
This’ll be the first (I think) webinar hosted by Exist. We’ve done and participated in several live tech seminars and meetups — we’ve never really tried the online approach. Marc and I are simply excited to get this started. One of our objectives is patriotic in nature — right on time I guess for the upcoming Independence Day — that is to grow the developer community in the Philippines. Of course, we also want to improve the capabilities of our fellow geeks
So, if you are interested, why don’t you join us? Would appreciate if you can share this info to folks who might be interested to participate.
