Archiva feature complete beta released!
Things are starting to come together in Archiva land with the first beta release today (as Deng announced here).
This has added a number of nice finishing touches - the repository problem reporting is back, as is support for Maven 1.x clients, and you can now schedule regular cleanups on snapshots which should be a very popular feature. A couple of the more annoying bugs have been taken care of as well.
The plan is to now push forward with fixing known issues and improving the documentation and polish, with fortnightly beta releases.
Thanks to everyone for their hard work (especially those who have been filing reports and have contributed patches).
I hope that if you are in need of a Maven (or Ant + Ivy) repository manager, you’ll give Archiva a look.
